BLACK with BLACK RIM: 75% rim weight discus is a great implement for all throwers with moderate spin rate. Precision balanced to optimize throwing release speed even if the thrower doesn't get the optimal release on the discus. 

WHITE with BLACK RIM: 83% rim weight discus is ideal for throwers that can consistently hit the release properly with higher rotational speeds. Better distance is possible with more weight in the rim if the discus flight is stable.
