Turbo Javelin | USATF & AAU Approved | Youth Training Javelin

Constructed from durable composite plastic, Turbo Javelins feature a flexible tip to enhance safety and reduce injury risk during training and competition. The flexible tip also helps prevent damage when the javelin strikes the ground, prolonging the life of the implement. Because they are lightweight and balanced, Turbo Javelins enable young throwers to focus on developing their throwing form without the strain that comes with heavier competition javelins.

Used for USATF and AAU competitions, including the Junior Olympics. Age cutoffs differ between USATF and AAU — see below to find the right weight for your athlete.

🏅 Coach Cappos Recommends

"The Turbo Javelin is the ideal starting point for almost every young javelin thrower. Its lightweight composite construction and flexible tip allow athletes to learn proper throwing mechanics in a safe and fun environment. Simply choose the correct weight based on the athlete's age and governing body requirements, then let them throw. It's one of the best tools available for introducing young athletes to the javelin."
